Section 70

Joseph Smith, the prophet of the restoration, was careful to write and preserve the revelations as he received them from the Lord.  This was one of his most important stewardships. As we consider our own stewardships such as spouse, parent, teacher, nursery worker, home teacher, and the like, we too, are taking our place in the restoration of the gospel in our day.  The laborer is worthy of his/her hire, means that we will receive compensation from the Lord for our diligence in keeping his commandments and following through on each responsibility he asks of us.
