The
Prophet, Joseph, was led by the Spirit in all things pertaining to his calling
as a Prophet of God. In this section he
makes reference to the strength and power of the Spirit as he received
direction, counsel, and inspiration. He
felt it in his bones it would be so strong at times. Often his message was to fulfill ones duty to
family and the church. He was also
admonished to keep God’s commandments and to fulfill one’s stewardships. The justice of God is, in my way of thinking,
his fairness. He is fair in all of his
judgments and dealings with his children. In this section Joseph is instructed
on God’s fairness in dealing with his children who decide to ignore his
instructions, council, and commandments.
